Growing future teachers in your school
Can we ignite a passion for teaching while students are still at school?
At AISNSW, we believe we can—with the launch of our new Teachers for Tomorrow (T4T) initiative.
This innovative program is designed to inspire and prepare future educators by immersing them in authentic school experiences. It goes beyond teaching content, focusing on four core skills vital to both teaching and many other careers: leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
What is Teachers for Tomorrow (T4T)?
By establishing a T4T club at your school, you’ll help students:
Develop critical skills for life and work
Explore teaching as a meaningful and rewarding profession
Engage in real-world activities, classroom experiences, and university visits.
This hands-on approach helps students see education as a viable and fulfilling career—while strengthening the pipeline of future teachers in your own school community.
How to be involved
To make implementation easy, we provide a comprehensive suite of online resources, including:
Structured Activities – Beginner, intermediate, and advanced tasks focused on leadership, teamwork, and communication.
Teacher User Guide – Step-by-step guidance for setting up and running the club.
Supporting Materials – Engaging content to enrich student learning.
Promotional Toolkit – Posters, newsletter templates, and parent communications to help spread the word.
University Student Day – Option to take your students to a University Student Day where they will immerse themselves in the university experience, gaining insight into what it’s like to be an undergraduate in a teaching degree.
Why Participate?
By participating in T4T, your school:
Cultivates a culture that values and promotes the teaching profession.
Provides students with early exposure to teaching, helping them make informed career choices.
Strengthens community ties by involving students, teachers, and parents in a shared mission.
