The College Headmaster is inviting applications from active Christians for the position of Performing Arts Coordinator PreK-12. The role will commence in term 1 2025.
The successful applicant would be an experienced and accomplished teacher and leader with a passion for providing students with performance opportunities to complement the Creative Arts Curriculum. Ideally the applicant would have obtained post-graduate qualifications. The position will be offered at a Leadership 2 level of responsibility and remuneration.
Wollondilly is a co-educational Christian College operated by the Anglican Schools Corporation. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational College located in pleasant rural surroundings at Tahmoor, about 60 minutes from Sydney’s CBD. Areas of responsibility
- Promotion and Coordination of the ensemble and performance components of the Co-Curricular Music, Dance and Drama programs
- Coordinate the College Ensemble performances at Formal Assemblies and Presentation Nights as well as the Country Fair, HICES Music Festival and MISA Dance and Drama Events
- Provide leadership and vision in public and interschool performances to maximise opportunities for students
- Coordinate the College music tuition program
- Coordinate and monitor the College performance scholarship program
- Work closely with the Creative Arts Coordinator in the promotion of the performing arts
- Supervise and mentor teachers involved in the performing arts
- Build local church community links to promote performance opportunities for performing arts students
- Build international links through coordinating College Performing Arts Tours
Administration
- Preparation and completion of Variation to Routine documentation
- Management of Resources and a Performance budget
- Other Teaching and Learning
- Classroom teaching as required
Communication
- Effective communication of and advocacy for Executive decisions
- Strong personal presence at College community events and staff functions
Other duties as required by the Headmaster
