Wenona is seeking an experienced and passionate Italian teacher to join the Wenona’s Languages team and inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position
- Teach Italian across Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging and effective language programs.
- Design and implement differentiated, inquiry-based learning experiences informed by contemporary pedagogy.
- Plan and deliver authentic assessment that supports student progress and achievement.
- Foster student wellbeing and engagement, supporting the social and emotional needs of young people.
- Collaborate effectively within the Languages team and broader faculty to enhance teaching practice and outcomes.
- Integrate ICT and participate in ongoing professional learning to enrich teaching, learning, and community contribution.
This is a permanent part-time role, with exact load to be confirmed, commencing Term 1 2026.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about the Italian Language, the ability to teach French and/or Spanish would be desirable, with experience in teaching across Years 7-12. You will be creative, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders. You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
