Position Title: AV Specialist
Level: ICT Support Services (dependent on experience)

The College is seeking to employ a full-time AV Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth technical delivery of a wide range of College events, including productions, assemblies, and presentations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical competence, adaptability, and professionalism, working collaboratively with staff and external providers to deliver engaging and reliable AV experiences that reflect the College’s commitment to excellence in performance and presentation.
This is a permanent position commencing Term 1 2026.
Key Selection Criteria
the successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:
- Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based Christian Church
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a diverse range of tasks that contribute meaningfully to operations and events within the College community
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and professionalism
- Technical proficiency in managing audio, lighting, and vision equipment for live and recorded productions
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure
- Time management and organisational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Adaptability and willingness to learn, embracing new technologies and evolving workflows, and to contribute to broader elements of the performance space.
- Attention to detail, ensuring quality control across technical and creative outputs
- Commitment to supporting a positive school environment, working respectfully with staff and students to enhance learning and community events
Qualifications
- Hold, or be willing to obtain:
– a current senior first aid certificate
– a current Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence
- Highly desirable criteria
– Experience in AV operations and installation
– Ability to maintain technical equipment, including minor repairs
– Experience in live production
– Technical knowledge of industry standard equipment across audio, lighting, staging and vision
