Thomas Hassall Anglican College is a vibrant P-12 independent College located with close access to the M5 and M7 in the growing southwest of Sydney. The College is seeking to employ a receptionist to be the initial face of the College to all visitors, contractors, students, parents and new employees during term time. The receptionist will be proactive, punctual and reliable, maintain a well-groomed and business-like appearance and enjoy dealing with people daily, being tolerant and polite but assertive.
Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence to support the following criteria:
- Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based Christian Church
- Strong administration skills, organised, thorough, with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Work collaboratively, establishing rapport and maintaining effective working relationships with students, parents and staff of the College community
- Passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service, hospitality and a warm and sincere welcome
- Ability to handle all telephone enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner and re-direct enquiries and/or take appropriate follow-up action.
Skills & Qualifications
- High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent levels of computer literacy and touch-typing skills
- Previous customer service experience
- A First Aid Certificate would be desirable
