About The Role
Tara is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to join our expanding Social Sciences faculty.
You will teach senior Social Science subjects supporting students in both IB and HSC pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects with a strong focus on academic rigour and student engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development for both IB and HSC programs.
- Use contemporary, inquiry-based teaching practices to foster critical thinking and global awareness.
- Support student wellbeing and academic progress through pastoral care and mentoring.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning and professional growth.
- Uphold and model the Christian values and ethos of the school.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Accredited to teach in NSW with relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences.
- Experience teaching Stage 6 Social Science subjects (IB and/or HSC).
- Familiarity with IB pedagogy and assessment is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
