About The Role

Tara is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to join our expanding Social Sciences faculty.

You will teach senior Social Science subjects supporting students in both IB and HSC pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Social Science subjects with a strong focus on academic rigour and student engagement.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and development for both IB and HSC programs.
  • Use contemporary, inquiry-based teaching practices to foster critical thinking and global awareness.
  • Support student wellbeing and academic progress through pastoral care and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning and professional growth.
  • Uphold and model the Christian values and ethos of the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Accredited to teach in NSW with relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences.
  • Experience teaching Stage 6 Social Science subjects (IB and/or HSC).
  • Familiarity with IB pedagogy and assessment is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
    Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
