About the role

As a Senior Studies of Religion Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the intellectual and spiritual development of students at the College. This full-time position offers the opportunity to teach Studies of Religion at senior level, contributing to the school’s mission of fostering academic excellence, ethical leadership, and spiritual growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that deepen students’ understanding of world religions and their role in society.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student work, ensuring they meet academic standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Studies of Religion curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, fostering their personal and spiritual growth.
  • Participate in school events and activities that promote the college’s Catholic ethos.

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
    Experience teaching Religion across all Stages.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Passion for Catholic education and a commitment to the spiritual development of young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic teaching team.
