About the role

We are seeking a creative and dedicated TAS Teacher (Junior Tech/Textiles) to join our team on a part-time contract (Terms 3 & 4).  The role is a job share, working Mondays and Fridays. Lessons will be set ready for you to deliver in our highly equipped specialist rooms.

Start: Term 3 July 21 2025, Part-time position (Mondays and Fridays) until the end of Term 4

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering innovative lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities
  • Developing and implementing engaging teaching strategies to foster student learning and achievement
  • Fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
  • Providing constructive feedback to students to support their progress

What we’re looking for

  • Relevant teaching qualification and current registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Demonstrated experience teaching TAS in a secondary school setting (Stage 6 experience desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and the school community
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student-centred learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated faculty team
