Scots All Saints College is seeking a permanent Head of Thompson Boarding House to join our highly caring and committed boarding leadership team from Term 1 2026.
Scots All Saints College is an independent, multi-campus Preparatory to Year 12 co-educational day and boarding school located in Bathurst, Central West NSW.
Under the guidance of the Director of Boarding, the Head of House organises and oversees the development and implementation of the Boarding programs which are central to the care of students.
The role of the Head of Thompson Boarding House is vital in providing a high degree of care to meet the needs of all boarders. A genuine interest in the holistic education of young people and a desire to be a positive role model in all areas of life is essential.
The Head of Thompson Boarding House will carry a 0.4 FTE release from teaching and is responsible for a Boarding House which currently includes male boarders from Year 9 through to Year 12 along with responsibility for residential staff working in the House.
The Head of Thompson House is provided with accommodation on campus as part of the employment package. Teachers from all subject area backgrounds will be considered.
Applicants must possess the following:
· First Aid Certificate
· Working with Children Check or have a willingness to obtain it promptly (Please note that you are not able to commence employment until a clearance has been obtained)
· Teaching Degree or Relevant Residential Care qualification
· Relevant pastoral care experience
