Essential Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification).
Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Knowledge of Australian curriculum and NESA requirements.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents, including the ability to respond to student learning needs.
Desirable:
Experience teaching PDHPE lessons including up to Stage 6
The ability to teach CrossFit, Stage 5 PASS, Stage 6 CAFS and/or SLR
The successful applicant will possess or willingness to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) and will be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our SGS team.
