PLC Sydney requires a passionate and experienced Visual Arts Teacher to join our Junior School’s vibrant and supportive team.

As a Visual Arts Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality Visual Arts programs: Implement best practice teaching and learning strategies, ensuring programs align with contemporary research and reflect the College’s vision.
  • Support student learning: Assist classroom teachers with Visual Arts programs, engage in professional development, and liaise with families to foster a collaborative approach to education.
  • Foster creativity and critical thinking: Promote reflective practice, model effective art appreciation methods, and facilitate workshops and excursions to expose students to the art world.
  • Demonstrate professional communication skills with Junior School colleagues.

PLC Sydney is a Bands system school.

The successful applicant will need to provide a current Working With Children Check Clearance Number & date of birth.
