About the Role: 

PLC Sydney is seeking an experienced Speech (or Drama) teacher to join our highly successful, collaborative, and innovative department.

This Peripatetic engagement involves approximately three hours of work per week during term time, primarily focusing on teaching students within our Transition program. The Transition program provides dedicated special education integration to girls in Years 7 – 12 with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.

Key Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated experience working with students with special needs is essential
  • Applicants should possess a strong background as a Speech Teacher, with ASCA/AMEB teaching qualifications or equivalent
  • A commitment to supporting the Christian ethos of the College is required
  • The successful applicant will be required to provide a valid Working With Children Clearance Number and date of birth
