L.O.T.E Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. They support students in developing their knowledge, understanding and skills in languages other than English. L.O.T.E Teachers encourage linguistic thinking through questioning, communicating, reasoning, and reflecting and help students generalise, find connections, and think critically and creatively, using appropriate technology to support linguistic activity. L.O.T.E Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.
