Due to one of our team members moving overseas mid-year, we have a vacancy for a Secondary History Teacher to join our History Department from Term 3, 2025. We invite applications from relational and collaborative teachers who are passionate about their subjects, inspiring students’ learning to increase their understanding of our world.
Requirements:
To be considered you will have:
- effective, evidence-based teaching practice
- willingness and capacity to teach across Secondary from 7 -12
demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners and needs - desire to work as an integral part of the faculty and wider school team
- evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students and parents
- effective organisation and the capacity to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
- excellent communication skills
- flexibility and resilience to respond to a dynamic learning environment
Prerequisites:
- permanent work rights
- NESA accreditation
- An active Christian faith (non-negotiable) including church involvement
- Working With Children Check clearance
