Provide effective IT support for staff, students and parents, assisting with technologies across our state-of-the-art K-12 school.
The IT Support Officer is an initial point of contact for hardware and software support, and effectively diagnosing and resolving IT issues for our school staff, students and parents. IT Support may be required in person e.g assisting with classroom technology or office hardware, via email or phone. By promptly addressing technical concerns, this role ensures that learning takes place effectively and the school can function smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests via phone, in-person, or email
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and account access issues
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided
- Offer clear, step-by-step guidance to users
- Document events and issue resolutions through the ticketing system
- Maintain regular communication with users, updating them on status and pertinent information
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary
- Install and configure IT hardware and software
- Manage and track loan devices
- Liaise with third party suppliers as needed
Requirements:
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs and strong computer literacy

Experience working in education or not for profit sector will be well regarded.
Prerequisites:
- An active Christian faith (non-negotiable) including church involvement
- Current Working With Children Check clearance will be required before commencement
- Permanent work rights (sponsorship will not be considered)
