Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through building strong trusted relationships
- Develop and/or assist the Room Leader with delivery of education programs that support children’s independence, resilience, and social and emotional wellbeing
- Preparing (where applicable), implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups
- Document children’s learning through observations and assessments in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- ACECQA approved qualification; Certificate III or Diploma (or be enrolled and working towards)
- Deep understanding of early learning pedagogy and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- An ability to stay calm in challenging situations
- A working knowledge of Jewish Studies and Hebrew advantageous but not essential
- Current first aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR.
- A valid Working with Children Check
