Moriah College is a co-educational Early Learning – Year 12 Jewish Day School based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The College has earned an outstanding reputation for academic excellence complimented by dynamic co- and extra-curricular programs.

We are taking expressions of interest for full time positions in 2025. We encourage educators with Certificate 3 or Diploma qualifications to apply.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through building strong trusted relationships
  • Develop and/or assist the Room Leader with delivery of education programs that support children’s independence, resilience, and social and emotional wellbeing
  • Preparing (where applicable), implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups
  • Document children’s learning through observations and assessments in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • ACECQA approved qualification; Certificate III or Diploma (or be enrolled and working towards)
  • Deep understanding of early learning pedagogy and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • An ability to stay calm in challenging situations
  • A working knowledge of Jewish Studies and Hebrew advantageous but not essential
  • Current first aid qualifications including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR.
  • A valid Working with Children Check
