About the opportunity

The English Teacher is responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging lessons, aligned with curriculum standards. They promote critical thinking, cultural awareness, and social responsibility among students. The role involves creating an inclusive learning environment, collaborating on curriculum development, and supporting students’ academic and personal growth, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute as informed global citizens.

Essential criteria

Appropriate teaching qualifications and current NESA registration
Knowledge of current NSW curriculum and curriculum development requirements
Ability to integrate ICT into teaching practice
Commitment to the education and wellbeing of young people
Demonstrated capacity to manage staff relationships in a manner that enhances productive working relationships and outcomes, and ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
Demonstrated ability to work with different groups and levels within a school
Applicants will be willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
Willingness to complete a National Police Check & possess a valid NSW Working With Children Check
