Ongoing Part-time role, 16 hours per week, starting date 20/01/2025
About the role:
As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Teaching music to secondary school students (Years 6-9)
● Leadership of Choir
● Teach within the framework of the fundamental principles of the French and Australian educational systems with high standard expected
Desired Skills and Experience:
About the ideal candidate:
● Bachelor or Master degree in education or equivalent
● Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in “collège” and “lycée” (Years 6-9)
● Previous experience in the French Education system
● Relational and reflective classroom teacher and collaborative community member focused on improving educational outcomes
● Demonstrated ability to engage with students using inclusive and innovative pedagogical practices
● Bilingual French and English (minimum B1 level) is a plus
