About the role

Fixed term full time (1.0 FTE), from August 2025 for the 2025/2026 school year

As our Spanish Teacher, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

● Teaching Spanish to secondary school students (Years 6-12)

● Preparing students for exams

● Teaching within the framework of the fundamental principles of the French and Australian educational systems with high standard expected

● An ability to teach across different subjects areas would be an advantage

What we offer:

● Remuneration as per the Independent Schools NSW/ACT industrial agreement (Annual full time base between a minimum of $86,607 AUD and a maximum of $132,260 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience)

About the ideal candidate:

● Bachelor’s degree + Master’s degree in education + competitive examination (CAPES/Agrégation)

● Minimum of 4 years’ full-time experience

● Previous experience in Collège and Lycée

● Excellent command of the French national curriculum

● Knowledge of the AEFE network and the French education system abroad

● Native Spanish Teacher

● Relational and reflective classroom teacher and collaborative community member focused on improving educational outcomes

● Demonstrated ability to engage with students using inclusive and innovative pedagogical practices

Visa requirements for candidate recruited from overseas: Level of English equivalent to an overall IELTS general score of at least 5.0 for each subject, i.e. approximately level B1 of the CEFR
