A rare opportunity exists for a Boarding Assistant to join a supportive team within a large boarding school for girls. This role is integral to the growth and development of the boarders who live at Loreto.
This role is temporary part-time during the school term in 2025 working from Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 10:30pm
The Role
- Ensure active supervision of boarders while on duty
- Encourage the growth in the boarders as individuals and as a community
- Contribute and be part of a team that builds positive relationships amongst staff, borders and parents
- Prioritise the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Supervise boarders on activities within and outside the boarding school as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Teaching, nursing, childcare worker or youth camp experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work collegially in a team environment
- Demonstrate personal maturity and a warm and welcoming manner
- A current CPR, First Aid and Duty of Care Certificate or be willing to obtain these credentials
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
