We are looking for an outstanding Science Laboratory Assistant to join the team at Lakes Grammar.
Located in Warnervale on the Central Coast, NSW
-Maximum term | Full-time
-Contract commencing Term 4, 22 October and concluding 10 December 2025 (end of term 4)
About the role:
The Science Laboratory Assistant supports the teaching and learning of science by preparing and maintaining laboratory materials, equipment, and facilities. The role ensures the safe and efficient operation of the science laboratories in accordance with WHS standards and school procedures.

Desirable:
-Experience working in a school laboratory environment.
-Familiarity with curriculum requirements and school operations.
Essential:
-Relevant qualifications or experience in laboratory operations, science, or a related field.
-Demonstrated knowledge of WHS regulations and chemical safety in an educational or laboratory setting.
-Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
-Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
-Competency with ICT relevant to laboratory operations and record-keeping.
The successful applicant will possess NSW Working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
