About your experience:
-Develop a culture of improvement in teaching and learning by placing student learning at the centre of planning.
-Implement effective learning and assessment frameworks that use data and benchmarks to drive best practice.
-Work collegially with the head of school, executive and other key staff in implementing the school’s goals within the team.
-Model exemplary classroom teaching and practice.
-Management of student behaviour
-Ensure student results, assessment tasks and work samples are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion.
Essential Criteria:
-Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification).
-Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
-Capacity to teach Year 1 – Year 8 Chinese
-Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NESA requirements.
-Demonstrated commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL).
-Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents, including the ability to respond to student learning needs.
-Participation in co-curricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events
-NSW Working with Children Check
-National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
-Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team.
