Based in the Central Coast, Lakes Grammar An Anglican School is one of four schools forming part of Newcastle Anglican.

About the role:

The Head of Senior School (years 9 to 12) is a key member of the Executive leadership team, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Senior School. This role ensures alignment with whole-school vision and values, leads staff to uphold excellence in teaching and student wellbeing, oversees student progress and engagement, and fosters strong partnerships with families and the wider community.

About your experience: 

-Experience in a senior leadership role
-Evidence of high-level student outcomes
-A high standard of competency, proficiency and innovation as a classroom teacher
-Highly proficient skills in digital literacy
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Essential Criteria:

-Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification).
-Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
-Knowledge of Australian curriculum and NESA requirements.
-Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents, including the ability to respond to student learning needs.

-NSW Working with Children Check.
-National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
-Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team.
-Applicants will be screened for appropriate child protection purposes as we are a Child Safe School.

Desirable: 
-Post graduate qualifications in Education or Educational Leadership
