Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

ABOUT THE ROLE
A position has arisen with Knox Grammar School for a Director of Alumni Relations with a commencement date in mid-January 2025. This is a permanent full-time role working 52 weeks per year and 4 weeks’ annual leave.
The Old Knox Grammarians’ Association (OKGA) is one of Australia’s largest and most active alumni associations, with more than 12,000 members of all ages.
The Director of Alumni Relations (incorporating the Executive Officer role of the OKGA) is responsible for the growth and development of the alumni community of Knox Grammar School and leading the OKGA to implement a range of programs and services for ex-students of Knox Grammar School.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- At least 5 years’ experience in project management, strategic development, strategy implementation or business administration with a demonstrable track record of success. Alumni network management experience desirable.
- It is essential the Director of Alumni Relations has a proven track record of success with relationship management, membership communication, strategy development and execution and people management.
- Proven experience delivering programs and services for membership organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to execute membership and networking engagement strategies independently.
- A level of comfort with the financial, bookkeeping and regulatory compliance requirements of Associations. Experience with Xero desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and an ability to plan and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital communications and social media desirable
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite is essential and CRM databases preferable.
