THE ROLE

We are now seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Italian Primary School Language Tutor/High School Linguist on a casual basis, working 3 days per week, Term Time only, commencing as soon as possible during Term 1 2025. The language tutor will be involved in providing in-class support for the Primary Language classes as a language tutor and weekly speaking practice for our Year 12 Italian classes as a high school linguist.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent knowledge and understanding of working with children, be highly proficient in the target language, have high quality interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to building and developing a culture of care for students.

As an outstanding Language Tutor/Linguist with a strong background in working with young children, you will be an exemplary role model of professionalism and collegiality, performing your role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy. Experience in a similar role and capacity to support students with learning difficulties is desirable.
