THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Educator to join our dynamic early learning program, which encourages children aged 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language; our school’s unique offering. This is a full-time ongoing position to commence from Term 1, 2025.
Together with our Early Childhood Teachers you will promote the foundations of a lifelong love of learning and embed Chinese language learning opportunities through an immersive and intentional language program within the daily curriculum of the Centre.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care
- Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications or willingness to obtain
- Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain
- Fluency in Mandarin and strong understanding of Chinese culture
- Availability to work between the hours of 7.00am – 6.10pm.
- Shifts are scheduled from 7.20am to 6.10pm on the ELC roster; staff enjoy a regular shift pattern
- Understanding of current early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families
- Sound ICT skills.
