THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced university qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic program, which encourages children aged 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language – our school’s unique offering. This is a full-time, temporary role commencing late November 2024 until the end of April 2025.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • ACECQA recognised university qualification in Early Childhood Teaching
  • Current, active Teacher Accreditation with NESA
  • Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications
  • Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training
  • Thorough and demonstrated understanding of early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS
  • Knowledge and experience of child centred pedagogy such as project based learning and the Reggio Emilia approach
  • Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Current WWCC
  • Proficient ICT skills
