ABOUT THE ROLE

The College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed educator to teach STEM and Technology to students in Years 7 to 10. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, innovative learning experiences that motivate students to reach their full potential.

This role is a temporary full time position commencing in January 2026 until December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thorough knowledge of students and how they learn.
  • An extensive knowledge of content and the ability to teach it effectively.
  • Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning.
  • Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments.
  • Proven ability to assess, provide feedback and report on student learning.
  • Engage in professional learning and work productively with colleagues, parents/caregivers and the community.
  • Actively support the ethos of the College.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of NSW Syllabuses, assessment and reporting requirements, thorough understanding of student welfare matters, dedication to the profession of teaching.
  • The ability to teach another subject area would be beneficial.
  • Good interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills, ability to work effectively as a team member and willingness to contribute to the College’s co-curricular programs.
  • Innovative, passionate and experienced educator with an understanding of how students learn and the ability to create classroom environments that engage and meet the needs of learners.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work with a team and a desire to grow professionally.
  • NSW Teacher Accreditation and a current WWCC.
