Cranbrook School is seeking an outstanding Sports Operations Coordinator to join our Sports Department commencing in January 2026.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a full-time position based at the Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill.

The Sports Operations Coordinator P-12 will assist the Director of Sport to deliver a quality sports programme for students from Preschool to Year 12.

This position is responsible for delivering and coordinating the administration, operations and communication of all School sporting activities. This includes helping to organise fixtures, team allocations, training, equipment, School House events, carnivals, ground set up, injury management, match reports, school holiday camps, tours and Parent Support Group events. The successful candidate will also be required to manage and attend weekend and after school fixtures including travelling to venues around New South Wales.

SELECTION CRITERIA

—     Demonstrated experience in sports coaching or administration

—     Tertiary qualifications in sports administration, exercise science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience

—     Experience working within the CAS, GPS and ISA sports competitions is desirable but not essential

—     Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills

—     Superior organisation and time management skills

—     Demonstrated ability to establish and build productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders

—     Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

—     A customer service-based approach in all interactions

—     High level of professional integrity and a passion for sport

—     A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural incident

—     Strong physical, mental and emotional health to deal with the required demands and responsibilities of the role

—     Current First Aid and CPR qualifications

—     A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

—     A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.
