Cranbrook School is seeking an outstanding Head of Netball to join our Sports team, commencing 27 January 2026.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a full-time position based at the Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill.
The Head of Netball will be responsible for designing and implementing the delivery of a complete Netball program including matters of welfare, participation and administration. This role will provide effective leadership to students and coaches to foster enjoyment of Netball and to encourage successful development of skills and competitive performance.

ABOUT YOU
You are a qualified and experienced netball coach with a demonstrated understanding of program design and management. You have the ability to inspire young people to achieve goals and to encourage them in the pursuit of excellence.
Capable of working collaboratively, leading a team, and possessing an exemplary understanding of best practice, you have proven expertise and the ability to coach across a broad age and ability range.
You are an excellent communicator, creative, and able to work well with students, parents and colleagues. You are committed to continual professional development and reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.
SELECTION CRITERIA
— Australian Advanced coaching accreditation or equivalent
— Previous experience in designing, implementing and managing a netball program preferably in a school environment
— Ability to communicate and collaborate with people at all levels, with diverse backgrounds and across a wide range of age groups
— Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
— Capacity to create a motivating and engaging environment that caters to the diverse needs of student athletes
— Genuine passion for netball and youth sport
— A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural incident
— Strong physical, mental and emotional health to deal with the required demands and responsibilities of the role
— Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
— A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
— A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.
