We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our dynamic teaching staff, commencing Term 1, 2026. This is a full-time permanent position, ideally suited to a teacher who is committed to academic excellence and student-centred learning.
About the Role
- Teach English to students in Years 7–12
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity and collaboration
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities and pastoral care programs
- Work collaboratively within a passionate and professional English faculty
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Education with a major in English
- Accreditation with NESA and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Proven experience teaching Stage 6 English (Advanced, Standard or Extension) is highly desirable
- A deep understanding of English pedagogy and the NSW English curriculum
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional learning
- Ability to integrate technology meaningfully into the classroom
