Are you a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of musicians? A developing independent school in Grafton is seeking a K-12 Music Teacher to lead and grow the school’s music program.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to drive and promote music within the school community. Experience in choir direction and ensemble leadership is highly desirable.
About the Role
As the K-12 Music Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging music lessons across Kindergarten to Year 12.
- Lead and develop the school’s choir, ensembles, and performance groups.
- Inspire students to develop a love for music through both curricular and co-curricular activities.
- Organize and contribute to school concerts, productions, and events.
- Work collaboratively with staff to enhance the school’s music culture.
- Foster student participation in local and state music competitions.
About You
- Qualified teacher with experience in K-12 music education.
- Hold or be eligible for NESA accreditation and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Passion for driving and promoting music across all year levels.
- Expertise in choir direction and ensemble leadership.
- Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse musical abilities.
- Strong skills in instrumental and vocal instruction.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive music culture.
- Hold or be eligible for NESA accreditation and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
