Central Coast Sports College is an innovative Independent K-12 school situated on the NSW Central Coast.
We are currently seeking an ICT person to support the ICT Manager to provide assistance, information and support to CCSC staff and student athletes in the use of ICT hardware, peripherals and software.
This role works in a very dynamic environment and must be able to respond flexibly and responsibly to all situations that arise in IT within the College. The ICT Support Assistant is required to utilise a broad range of information technology skills and experience by applying them with significant discretion, judgment and confidentiality.
This position would have a start date of Monday 13 January 2025.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide first line support for ICT issues via phone, email or ticket management system within set SLA’s.
- Manage hardware repairs and complete basic hardware repairs as required.
- Manage the deployment, configuration and security of desktop and mobile computing devices and peripheral devices.
- Administration of various platforms – user management, group management, licensing.
- Ensure applications and equipment are operating efficiently, replacing or repairing peripheral devices (i.e. printers, modems, routers) when necessary.
- Coordinating with vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance.
- Proactively manage stock levels of consumables, spares and replacement equipment.
- Undertake regular review of classrooms and meeting rooms to ensure technology installed is in working order and ready for use.
Qualifications, Skills and experience:
- Degree/Qualification in relevant field – Certificate IV in Information Technology as a minimum.
- Proficiency in MacOS and iOS. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom and Jamf (advantageous).
- Demonstrated practical understanding, problem solving abilities and interest in ICT systems.
- Knowledge of TASS (The Alpha School System) an advantage as this is the school management system used to connect all areas of the College.
- The physical ability to be able to:-
- traverse the College grounds (footpaths, stairs, roads) to allow engagement with IT access points, staff and student athletes.
- perform manual tasks ie. lifting, rack maintenance, working on ladders.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to offer technical help using plain, easy-to-understand language.
- NSW Working with Children Check clearance – for paid employment.
- National Crime Check clearance.
