Central Coast Grammar School is a leading K-12 independent, coeducational and nondenominational school.   Located on a single 18-hectare campus overlooking the Matcham Valley close to the heart of Erina, our school offers a spacious environment where students can grow and flourish.

All CCGS staff participate in annual training in child protection.  All statutory checks and references are required prior to confirmation of employment.

 

This is a full time permanent position to effectively and efficiently manage a range of maintenance, operation and presentation of all school facilities to ensure a safe, clean and well-functioning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

This includes overseeing maintenance, groundskeeping and facilities staff to ensure all physical assets are maintained to the highest standard and aligned with the operational needs of the school. Use of a school vehicle as a tool of trade will be included as part of the role.

To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:

·            Relevant trade qualifications in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or related fields (highly regarded)

·            Current Driver’s Licence

·            Valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain

·            First Aid Certification, or be willing to obtain

·            Minimum of 5 years experience managing complex facilities and/or maintenance of buildings & property

·            Experience in effectively managing a team to achieve goals and objectives

·            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with efficient administrative skills, flexibility &

adaptability

·            Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team

·            A commitment to the strategic direction of the School is required
