The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Drama Teacher to join our vibrant Performing Arts faculty. The successful candidate will teach Drama across Years 7–12, delivering engaging lessons aligned with the NESA curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons that foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence.
- Develop units of work that meet NESA and International Baccalaureate requirements.
- Direct and support school productions, performances, and co-curricular drama activities.
- Assess and report on student progress in line with school and curriculum standards.
- Contribute to the life of the school through pastoral care and participation in events.
About You
- Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA.
- Experience teaching Drama in secondary school settings.
- Familiarity with the IB MYP framework (or willingness to undertake training).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.
