The Position

  • Inspire and engage students through creative, inclusive and high-quality teaching in both Drama and English.
  • Plan, deliver and assess authentic, differentiated learning experiences using contemporary, evidence-based pedagogies that support each student’s growth and achievement.
  • Contribute to Drama productions and co-curricular activities that enrich the cultural and creative life of the School.
  • Foster student wellbeing, inclusion and confidence, with an understanding of the educational needs of girls and young women.
  • Integrate ICT and innovative approaches to enhance learning, collaboration and engagement within and beyond the classroom.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional learning to contribute to a collegial, high-performing teaching community.

This is a permanent full-time position, with a split load between Drama and English, commencing Term 1 2026.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified in Drama and English. You will display a strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders. You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.

This role requires the successful applicant to be NESA accredited, hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, current NSW Police Check and to be fully COVID vaccinated.
