The Scots College is seeking an experienced and innovative Honours Teacher to lead and deliver our Gifted and Talented program in the Preparatory School. You’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team dedicated to supporting boys with high intellectual potential to thrive in learning, leadership, and service.
About the Role
Reporting to the Coordinator of the Honours Program, you will:
Develop and deliver engaging, academically rigorous programs for gifted students (T–6)
Collaborate with classroom teachers to embed differentiation and enrichment
Support and coach staff in best practices in gifted and boys’ education
Maintain strong relationships with students and parents
Promote a culture of excellence, curiosity and growth mindset
What You Bring
Registration with NESA and relevant teaching qualifications
Postgraduate qualification or experience in Gifted and Talented Education
Strong understanding of curriculum differentiation and cognitive development
Passion for boys’ education and supporting individual learning journeys
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and the Christian ethos of the College
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
