We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new graduate to fill a temporary maternity leave position within our Technologies team. It would be advantageous if the applicant had experience or qualifications in the area of Agricultural studies. Suitably qualified professionals who have enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Stage 4 – 6 Technologies, are invited to apply for the position.
The ideal applicant will have a dynamic proactive approach to teaching, immersion into College life, enthusiasm for teaching young people, with professional values. As our College is growing from 3 to 4 streams within Secondary, there is the possibility that this position may turn into a permanent position in 2026.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:
* Demonstrate enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Technologies for the HSC
* Prepare animals and students for showing, foster the use and implentation of new technologies and assist in maintaining the Agricultural plot, with the assistance of the Ag Assistant
* Drive academic improvement in the area of literacy and numeracy for Year 7-12
* Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff, students and parents
* Work collaboratively within a team to lead in the further development of the faculty
* Model, promote and represent the College’s Vision, Mission and Values
* Differentiate in the classroom to promote growth for each individual student
* Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and assessment
* Implement digital literacy with regard to application of pedagogy
* Present appropriate tertiary qualifications, including teacher qualifications
* Assent to the College’s Statement of Faith
NESA accreditation and a current Working With Children Check required.
